Panic attacks are often triggered by something usually from the past. Sometimes it can be due to a hormonal imbalance. Other times they come out of the blue and for no apparent reason. The good thing is that these attacks can pass and you can move forward with your life. I don’t believe that you need medication to deal with panic attacks and way too many people are on anxiety tablets when they don’t need to be. I never could relate to people who suffered from panic attacks until I was getting them in different forms a few years back. Last year I suffered from severe panic attacks where I would wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat and feeling as if I was going to have a heart attack.
With starting a meditation and breathing exercise ritual and listening to one of the stress reduction recordings I was able to beat the panic attacks in a matter a few weeks.
